I’m from Louisiana born and raised. Most of the things I write come from first hand experiences. I love spending time with my family and just hanging out with friends. I’m a Christian and a big part of what I write relates to that. I’m in college studying to be a counselor. I want to work with youth. In the summer I volunteer at a shelter for abused and neglected kids, and I volunteer in the nursery at my church. I want to make a difference in some small way while I can. I like to sing and act but don’t get to do that as often as I would like. But I know God will open a door. I write to help put my feelings down on paper and to get the, out of my head. It is an outlet I use to channel my emotions. I also love writing poetry for people. On birthdays anniversaries things like that.

All will come with lowered head and bended knee
Your holiness will not be denied
Though many have tried
Your just judgment all will see

The elect will not fear your face
You count us as your bride
Our scars and wounds we shall not hide
We will be robed in your grace

Others will tremble with fear
As they hang their heads in shame
Knowing that they denied your name
As their fates become clear

Let not your hearts be afraid
You can be among the few
Turn to God, your hearts will be renewed
Then you can be assured of your place that day
